Job Description


The Payroll Systems Analyst will support the Payroll Director and ongoing payroll processing and procedures for approximately 2,000 employees through the transition of multiple ongoing system conversions.



Assist the Payroll Director with developing and documenting fluid processes and procedures that will allow the department to continue day to day processing without error during conversion and have a solidified model to follow upon completion of all conversions. (Payroll system ADP to Ceridian, Timekeeping system from ADP Enterprise eTime to a company designed HRM system, and Reporting DB from Microsoft Access to SQL Web Based). 
Complete pre-testing and analysis between the two systems on each platform to avoid lengthy live parallel usage. 
Assist in the setup of new state and tax jurisdictions
Support the HRIS SME (Subject Matter Expert) with setup and troubleshooting of the company system including employee maintenance, payroll testing, and permissions setup and auditing for all users.

This position will be starting out as a long term temporary position to assist with the conversion with the possibility of becoming a permanent position depending on scope of the conversion and department needs down the road.

Skills / Requirements


Proficiency with payroll software, either ADP or Ceridian
Prior experience with system conversions
Advanced Excel Skills a must
Microsoft Access experience a plus
Solid analytical abilities and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently



High school diploma
Associates Degree, or equivalent experience
FPC/CPP a plus


Work Experience:

3 - 5 years as payroll processor in a fast paced environment; mid to large size company preferred.
Previous experience with a multi-state, multi-site payroll.  International experience a plus.   
Experience with payroll, timekeeping, HRIS systems. 
Working and demonstrated knowledge of state and federal payroll regulations
Ability to compare and analyze payroll reports to identify inconsistencies and errors
Familiarity with how Payroll correlates to Accounting and HR.
