We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Finance Team!

 

In this role you will be asked to provide operational information on a timely basis to all areas of the company to assist recipients in making sound business decisions; including budgets, forecasts and weekly projections.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Maintain and improve daily reporting to management (revenue & gross margin)
  • Maintain and improve weekly projections
  • Maintain and improve monthly reporting to management
  • Operational review, Client KPI, Client Profitability, Liquidation Rates
  • Assist in maintaining and improving the client profitability database (SQL 2013)
  • Assist in the month-end close and month-end analysis.
  • Assist in budget preparation and consolidation
  • Assist in preparing quarterly board meeting presentations
  • Assist the Sales Team in preparing new client proposals
  • Work with Operations to provide reports and analysis as requested.
  • Other special projects, adhoc reports and analysis as require

 

Education

  • College degree required

Work Experience

  • 2-4 plus years of general accounting experience
  • 2-4 plus years of experience with Excel with above average skills
  • 1-2 plus years of experience with PowerPoint
  • Financial budgeting and statement preparation experience preferable
  • Product/customer level profitability analysis experience preferable
  • Experience working with a general ledger system and report writer (MS Dynamics & Report Manager)
  • Experience working with IBM COGNOS - TM1 (budget software) a plus
  • Experience working with SQL 2013 (database) a plus
  • Collection industry background a plus
